Going to see Jimmy in a few hours at the CMA Theater in Nashville. He has been an idol of mine since I was 13 years old and I'm 71 now. The only thing I wish is that Glen could be there, too.

This is the definitive version of this song. Jimmy Webb brought the song to Glen long before The Highwaymen was formed and even though their version is great Glen Campbell does it away more justice imo
